Hua Xia De Jing 108" Cable Ship——Self-propelled, unlimited navigation zone, CCS-classed; 171m long, 38m molded breadth, and 12.8m molded depth, with a full-load displacement of 35,000t and a cable-carrying capacity of 18,000t. It is equipped with a DP2 dynamic positioning system; a powered rotating carousel with one turntable and two cable tanks, enabling single- or dual-cable installation; ROVs for subsea operations and trenching; and a motion-compensated gangway. It currently has the world’s largest single-turntable cable-carrying capacity among submarine cable installation ships.
