"De Jing 105" Cable Ship

Unlimited navigation zone, CCS-classed; 68m long, 26m molded breadth, and 4m molded depth, with a full-load displacement of 4,798t and a cable-carrying capacity of 3,000t. Equipped with a powered rotating cable carousel, it can install a single continuous 27km length of 220kV submarine power cable or optical cable. It is currently the most advanced Chinese ship of its tonnage for nearshore operations.

Equipped with a DP2 dynamic positioning system, it is designed to accommodate a motion-compensated gangway, post-lay jet trenching system, and MacKay system. It can install articulated concrete mattresses and flexibly perform submarine cable installation across multiple work sections.

It currently has the world’s largest single-turntable cable-carrying capacity among submarine cable installation ships.

Deepwater Offshore Wind O&M Ship

Deepwater Offshore Wind O&M Ship (Integrated Wind Farm Standby, O&M and Emergency Repair; 20 ships in Phase I and 30 in Phase II; Under Construction)——Self-propelled, unlimited navigation zone, CCS-classed; 56m long, 16.8m wide, and 7.15m molded depth. The high-performance catamaran design provides a maximum speed of 17.5 knots and a design displacement of at least 600t or 300t. Each ship has 34 cabins and can accommodate 10 crew members, 24 special personnel, and 24 industrial personnel. The independently developed aluminum-alloy motion-compensated gangway provides a maximum access height of 20m and a safe horizontal outreach of 15m for transfer to offshore wind turbine platforms and booster stations while the ship operates in dynamic positioning mode. The design supports efficient offshore O&M in harsh conditions, including 2-knot currents, Beaufort Force 6 winds, and a significant wave height of 2.5m. The ships can also carry a range of subsea equipment, including work-class ROVs for cable and pile-foundation inspection, heavy-duty post-lay cable-burial ROVs, underwater acoustic survey equipment, surface O&M daughter craft, and wind turbine inspection drones. Upon completion, the fleet will primarily provide integrated standby, O&M, and emergency repair services for offshore wind farms, significantly strengthening Dejing Group’s competitiveness in deepwater offshore wind construction and O&M in China.

“5,000t Submarine Optical Cable Ship (Primarily for submarine optical cable installation, proposed)——Self-propelled, unlimited navigation zone, CCS-classed; 131.4m long, 24m molded breadth, and 11.8m molded depth, with a full-load displacement of 17,500t and a cable-carrying capacity of 6,000t. Designed primarily for installing and repairing submarine optical and telecommunications cables, it can also install submarine dynamic cables and support offshore wind farm O&M. It features DP2 dynamic positioning and an ROV trencher rated for water depths of 2,000m. The ship can install and maintain long-distance, deepwater, high-capacity submarine optical cables, military underwater detection networks, and national ocean observation networks, and can undertake international submarine optical cable projects.
