Deepwater Offshore Wind O&M Ship

600吨或300吨风电守护船.jpg

Deepwater Offshore Wind O&M Ship (Integrated Wind Farm Standby, O&M and Emergency Repair; 20 ships in Phase I and 30 in Phase II; Under Construction)——Self-propelled, unlimited navigation zone, CCS-classed; 56m long, 16.8m wide, and 7.15m molded depth. The high-performance catamaran design provides a maximum speed of 17.5 knots and a design displacement of at least 600t or 300t. Each ship has 34 cabins and can accommodate 10 crew members, 24 special personnel, and 24 industrial personnel. The independently developed aluminum-alloy motion-compensated gangway provides a maximum access height of 20m and a safe horizontal outreach of 15m for transfer to offshore wind turbine platforms and booster stations while the ship operates in dynamic positioning mode. The design supports efficient offshore O&M in harsh conditions, including 2-knot currents, Beaufort Force 6 winds, and a significant wave height of 2.5m. The ships can also carry a range of subsea equipment, including work-class ROVs for cable and pile-foundation inspection, heavy-duty post-lay cable-burial ROVs, underwater acoustic survey equipment, surface O&M daughter craft, and wind turbine inspection drones. Upon completion, the fleet will primarily provide integrated standby, O&M, and emergency repair services for offshore wind farms, significantly strengthening Dejing Group’s competitiveness in deepwater offshore wind construction and O&M in China.
